The Chinese Society of Leicester University is one of the large and most active societies within the Students' Union at the University of Leicester with nearly 200 members per academic year drawing from variety of backgrounds. My responsibilities in the Society included:
1.Promoting the Society by recruiting new members
2.Preparing and Organising the "Welcome Night" to welcome members of the Society and also preparing the Annual Chinese New Year Spring Festival Ball
3.Circulating the news and activities of the Society to the members, corresponding with other societies within the university and contacting the external bodies by means of e-mail
